Our client, a busy professional with an active lifestyle, wanted a cozy home that felt like a personal retreat. The goal was clear: a space to relax, unwind, and escape from daily stress.
The Design Approach
From the beginning, we knew that delivering on this brief required a deep understanding of both the site and the client’s aspirations. Our process began with a thorough site visit and measurement, where we immediately identified several challenges that would shape our design decisions:
- The layout lacked cohesion and scattered elements throughout the space.
- Unmovable structural columns constrained our space planning.
- We had limited workspace available.
- Limited parking spaces demanded creative solutions.
Despite these obstacles, we were excited to push the boundaries of our creativity. Our solution was to adopt a modern tropical aesthetic, with a focus on maximizing space, light, and airflow, while integrating natural materials that evoke tranquility and warmth.
Overcoming Design Challenges
Key to the project’s success was resolving the layout issues without compromising functionality. We worked meticulously to improve spatial flow, making the most of each square meter. With careful consideration, we adapted the layout around the unmovable columns and optimized the available workspace, ensuring that every area felt expansive despite the challenges.
A Home That Reflects Modern Luxury
What emerged was a beautifully crafted home that balances modern luxury with a deep connection to nature. The living spaces are designed to be open, airy, and flooded with natural light, creating an atmosphere of calm and relaxation. Natural wood elements, lush greenery, and stone accents add to the overall tropical feel, making the house feel like a permanent vacation destination.
The result? A home where the client can unwind after a long day, effortlessly blending the serenity of nature with the sophistication of modern design.

Our sub-brands played key roles in enhancing the design. Biro Botanika created lush landscaping that connects the home to nature. Suatu Objekk added unique décor pieces for a modern, organic feel. KakiLangit installed durable SPC and vinyl ceilings for a sleek finish, while Embun Automation provided smart home systems to add convenience and modern luxury.
