Tanda Tangan is conceived as a hybrid retail environment—where shopping, interaction, and brand experience are integrated within a single spatial framework. Located in KotaSAS, the project moves away from conventional retail planning and instead introduces a more open, layered arrangement.

Spatial Strategy

The space is organised along a central flow, allowing clear movement from the main entrance through a series of defined zones. Each zone serves a distinct function—from product display to discussion areas, café seating, and fitting spaces—while remaining visually connected.

This approach allows the space to operate beyond retail, supporting both browsing and social interaction without rigid separation.

Expression & Identity

Rather than relying on subtlety, the design embraces a more expressive language. Bold colours, geometric forms, and graphic surfaces are introduced to create a recognisable and engaging environment.

These elements are not applied arbitrarily—they act as spatial markers, helping define zones and guide movement throughout the store.

Layered Experience

The inclusion of café and discussion areas introduces a secondary layer of use. Customers are encouraged to dwell within the space, shifting the experience from transactional to experiential.

Open sightlines ensure visibility across zones, while moments of enclosure—through partitions and display elements—create variation within the journey.

Facade & Presence

The façade plays a key role in establishing identity. A transparent frontage layered with graphic elements allows the interior to be partially revealed, creating visual interest from the outside while maintaining a sense of depth.

This positions the store as both a retail destination and a visual anchor within its context.

Tanda Tangan is structured as a sequence of experiences rather than a singular space. By combining clear zoning with an expressive visual language, the design supports both commercial function and user engagement in a cohesive manner.
